Dead Teenage Victim ID'd In Multiple Central Jersey Shooting

UPDATED: Authorities have identified the victim in a multiple shooting in Middlesex County.

Marc Atkins, 18, of Plainfield sustained multiple gunshot wounds on Wednesday night and was later pronounced dead at a nearby hospital, according to Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone and North Brunswick Police Chief Joseph Battaglia.

A second unidentified 17-year-old victim was wounded in the shooting at the Glen at Renaissance Apartments on Marc Drive about 7:30 p.m., they said. His injuries were not life-threatening.
